Tapas World Day 2016

The tapas are part of the Spanish life style.
Originally they have been used as little lids (Spanish „tapa“), avoiding that insects might fall into the glass.
Today they are served and consumed with any alcoholic drink and substitute in many cases lunch or dinner.
You meet with friends or colleagues, go on from one bar to the next and taste the many different specialities each bar has to offer – all served in small bites.
This is a nice way to combine the joy of life and vitality of the Spaniards with their hospitality and their fondness towards gastronomy.
